Andrea Buera initially accused the 'Bottoms Up' singer of vicious assault and battery, claiming that he became upset after spotting her talking to another male at a Hollywood Hills party in 2018.

AceShowbiz - A domestic violence lawsuit against singer Trey Songz has been dropped.

Andrea Buera sued the "Bottoms Up" star, real name Tremaine Neverson, for assault, following an incident at a Hollywood Hills party last year (18). Trey denied any assault, claiming he was not responsible for any harm suffered by Buera as he was just defending himself, and asked for the case to be tossed.

And on Tuesday, September 10, Buera filed a request to dismiss the case with prejudice - meaning she cannot re-file her charges at a later date.

Buera initially sued Trey for assault and battery, claiming the musician became upset after he spotted her talking to another male party guest, and sought unspecified damages for alleged injuries and medical expenses.

She accused the singer of viciously beating her and also alleged a bodyguard had to intervene to stop the attack. However, in his response to the lawsuit, the star denied all allegations of wrongdoing, and added that he "reasonably believed Plaintiff (Buera) was going to harm him and any force he used was only the amount reasonable necessary to protect himself".
