The 'Senorita' collaborators and real-life couple show how they 'really kiss' in a hilarious video to respond to people who 'hurt' their feelings by saying they kiss like fish.

AceShowbiz - Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have addressed criticisms about the way they kiss. After being hounded by paparazzi during their dates and photographed on various occasions, the pair apparently caught wind of people saying that they kiss like fish. Thus, the "Treat You Better" crooner took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 11 to prove that they're wrong.

"We saw on Twitter and stuff you guys saying stuff about the way we were kissing, that it looks like weird and that we kiss like fish," he said in the captionless video. Appearing alongside her boyfriend, Camila added, "It really hurt our feelings."

"So we're going to show you how we really kiss," Shawn continued, before they had a full on make-out session. The "Senorita" collaborators then moved closer to each other, with Camila shoving her tongue inside his mouth. They continued their awkward kiss by opening their mouths wide and sucking each other's face.

They abruptly ended their hilarious PDA moment as the former Fifth Harmony member couldn't hold back her laughter.

Shawn's followers quickly flooded the comment section with some witty remarks. Charlie Puth clearly thinks it's funny, writing, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAH." Songwriter and OneRepublic's lead vocalist Ryan Tedder said, "Dude stop messing around and MAKE HER GUACAMOLE. Ur in Mexico for Gods sakes u have everything u need."

Canadian rock band The Beaches jokingly compared Shawn and Camila's kiss to Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) in the "Twilight" movie, "This is v similar to that first kiss between Bella & Edward." Boxer Ryan Garcia chimed in, "Now that's how you kiss your girl!!!"

Shawn and Camila first sparked dating rumors in July, after they released their duet "Senorita" in June. They previously teamed up on a song, "I Know What You Did Last Summer", in 2015 and released another joint track, "If I Can't Have You", in July of this year.
