The 'World of Dance' judge is waving to the crowd at the premiere of her new movie 'Hustlers' when she appears to lose her balance and falls forward onto the balcony ledge.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez had a close call at the Toronto International Film Festival. The singer/actress almost fell over a balcony when attending the premiere of her new movie "Hustlers" at the Canadian event on Sunday, September 8.

The freaky moment was captured in a video obtained by TMZ. The 50-year-old beauty and some of her co-stars were waving excitedly to the audience on the balcony. She leaned forward to see the audience below when she appeared to lose her balance and fell forward onto the balcony ledge overlooking the venue.

The audience can be heard gasping as J.Lo slipped. The former "American Idol", however, managed to save herself by putting her hands forward and lifting herself up. The crowd then cheered after her graceful recovery and she continued waving to the audience as if nothing had happened.

Jennifer looked stunning at the premiere in a plunging yellow gown that featured a daring front slit. She wore a pair of open-toe stilettos and carried a clutch decorated with jewels representing a stack of money.

She, however, was faced with protesters who criticized her love for wearing fur. The animal rights activists hurled abuse at the "On the Floor" hitmaker as she hit the red carpet and posed for the cameras.

Animal rights protesters are planning several events at the festival to oppose one of its sponsors, Canada Goose, following a PETA campaign highlighting the outerwear company's use of goose feathers and coyote fur.

Actress and PETA activist Pamela Anderson wrote a stern letter to festival artistic director Cameron Bailey last week, urging him to sever ties with the company over its alleged cruelty towards geese and coyotes.

Responding to Pamela's letter, PETA said in a statement, "We are disappointed that PETA continues to grossly misinform their celebrity spokespeople about our use and sourcing of fur and down and we would encourage them to do their research first and not misrepresent the facts. This scripted rhetoric continues to attempt to mislead consumers, while we remain committed to the responsible use and ethical sourcing of all materials in our products, as evidenced by our transparency standards."
