Honoring her late husband while announcing her engagement to Michael F, Talinda writes, 'I will continue to honor Chester and continue my life's mission to make his passing not in vein.'

AceShowbiz - Chester Bennington's widow Talinda is ready to start a new chapter in her life more than two years after the death of the rocker. On Friday, September 6, the former Playboy model announced her engagement as she also made sure to honor her late husband.

Revealing that she's engaged to her "angel on earth" Michael F, Talinda told her followers, "I am here to tell you that you can find love after tragedy. That a death of a soulmate does not mean the death of you. My family, friends and my Linkin Park brothers welcome him to the family with open arms. I will continue to honor Chester and continue my life's mission to make his passing not in vein."

She then addressed her next lines to "suicide loss survivors," encouraging them, "You CAN be happy again. You CAN have space in your heart for grief, joy, happiness, sadness and love." The model concluded, "Thank you for ALL of you continued love and support."

Many have offered her congratulatory messages, including Mike Shinoda who wrote, "I've already congratulated you both in person, but congrats again, ha! All our love and support!" One follower wrote, "I'm so very happy for you T. you deserve to be loved and give love, you deserve to be happy and you deserve to find light after darkness. I hope he treats you and your family well, that's the most important thing. Congratulations Talinda."

Chester and Talinda, who have three children together, were married for more than a decade, before the Linkin Park frontman took his own life on July 20, 2017. The brunette beauty recently marked the second anniversary of his death through an Instagram video that saw her saying, "Today is going to be a really hard day for a lot of people, and that may be you, and I just want you to know that you're loved, you matter, and the world means something with you in it. And today let's make Chester proud, and take care of each other, because that's what he would want us to do."
