Words on the street are, the 'Avengers: Endgame' actor has been in talks with Disney bosses to resurrect his Marvel superhero character in a spin-off TV show, 'Ironheart'.

AceShowbiz - Robert Downey Jr. is reportedly in talks to resurrect "Iron Man" for Disney's new streaming service.

The actor retired the Marvel superhero after Tony Stark's alter ego was killed off in this year's Marvel blockbuster "Avengers: Endgame", but the character maybe coming back to like for an upcoming television series.

A source tells The Daily Mail the star has been in talks with Disney bosses to reappear as Iron Man in "Ironheart", a spin-off television show for the company's new streaming service, Disney+.

Robert has yet to confirm his participation in the project.

Downey Jr's "Iron Man" kicked off the run of Marvel blockbusters back in 2008 and he appeared in 10 blockbusters, including three "Iron Man" movies.

Last month, he picked up the Disney Legends Award - the highest honour Disney bosses can bestow, recognising "remarkable people who have made a lasting mark" on the company.
