Along with Rapsody, the 'Going Bad' hitmaker is set to headline the concert in Chicago's Grant Park before the season-opening game between the city's Bears and the visiting Green Bay Packers.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Meek Mill has been booked to perform at the NFL Kickoff Experience as part of the American football league's new partnership with Jay-Z and his Roc Nation label.

The "Going Bad" hitmaker and fellow hip hop star Rapsody have been booked as the talent for the concert on 5 September.

Meek Mill and Rapsody will perform in Chicago's Grant Park before the season-opening game between the city's Bears and the visiting Green Bay Packers. The concert will also have a charity component, serving local organisations BBF Family Services and Crusher Club.

Jay-Z signed a deal with National Football League bosses earlier this month and has been appointed the group's live music entertainment strategist.

As such, he will consult with the NFL on all matters of entertainment, while co-producing the Super Bowl half-time show through his Roc Nation banner.

Jay-Z will also contribute to the league's Inspire Change charity initiative.
