This flirty exchange arrives after she was slammed for allegedly 'stretching out' her engagement to Wells by sharing a video of herself and him after her performance of her new song at the Teen Choice Awards.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams' recent online exchange will make everyone blush. The "Modern Family" star made a cheeky, NSFW remark about her sex life with her fiance after the latter commented on her Wednesday, August 28 post on Instagram.

The post saw the 28-year-old beauty flaunting her flexibility. Donning a gray tank, black leggings and Nike sneakers, the actress was seen stretching while doing a split during a dance rehearsal for her upcoming movie "The Wedding Year".

"Oh hey. Didn't see you there. Since you're here @theweddingyear comes out Sept 20th! Trailer link in bioooooo yooooo," so Sarah wrote alongside the snap. "(yes this is from dance rehearsal for #theweddingyear)."

Wells then left a comment underneath the post and it was all started innocently. "I think your hip is broken," the "Bachelor in Paradise" bartender wrote. Sarah then made it NSFW with her response, which read, "hmm I wonder why."

Seemingly realizing that her joke might come off too risque, she wrote back, "@wellsadams was that too much?"

This flirty exchange arrives after she was slammed for allegedly "stretching out" her engagement to Wells. "How long will you be stretching this out?" a troll asked in a comment section of one of Sarah's posts in which she shared a video of herself and the 35-year-old following her spectacular performance of her new song, "Met at a Party," at the Teen Choice Awards.

Instead of going mad at the user, Sarah seemed unfazed in the way she replied to the troll. "Forever," she coolly wrote back.

Wells popped the question to Sarah on the beach back in July. The couple revealed the big news via Instagram with Wells posting video of his beach proposal. Sarah also shared photos of the happy occasion, including one image of her new diamond engagement ring. "That can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff," she wrote in the caption, quoting 1995 film "It Takes Two".

The pair confirmed their romance in October 2017 and Wells moved in with the actress the following summer, supporting her through a series of health woes.
