AceShowbiz - Fans of Gervonta Davis and Ariana Fletcher can breathe a sigh of relief because their favorite couple is apparently not breaking up. Less than a week after the two-time super featherweight world champion revealed that they had split, he shared on Twitter on Monday, August 19 a series of photos of them putting a loved-up display during a date.
Looking at the photos, it was clear that the two are still in love with each other. In one photo, Ariana could be seen wiping something off of her boxer beau's lips while they were enjoying meal in a diner, while another photo showed them looking at each other lovingly while holding hands.
But that apparently wasn't enough to show their love because in the last photo, Gervonta was seen grinding on the entrepreneur and model on the streets. The 24-year-old athlete left the post captionless.
Gervonta previously got a lot of people heartbroken after he suggested on Twitter that he and Ariana had broken up. When one Twitter user asked him what the mother of one is doing right now, the boxer simply responded, "Nothing! We both single."
Ariana started dating Gervonta in January of this year, following her split from baby daddy G Herbo. Back in April, the exes got into an altercation that resulted in the rapper getting arrested in Atlanta and charged with battery. Detailing the incident on Instagram Stories, Ariana said that Herbo "beat the f**k out of me in front of my son" before sending the child away.
Herbo allegedly also "chocked me, punched me in my face and all over my body, dragged me outside on the concrete by my hair after his friends drove off with my son, took me in the house and continued beating me." Police reported that the model did have visible scratches on her body as a result of the assault.
Herbo was released one week later on $2,000 bail. Upon his release, the Chicago rapper discussed his altercation with his baby mama during an Instagram Live session, accusing Ariana of stealing jewelry from his mother's house.
