AceShowbiz - Jay-Z's decision to sign a deal with NFL continues to receive mixed reactions from fellow celebrities. Some of them were shading the music mogul for it, while some of them were opting to believe that the deal would bring a better prospect for black community after Colin Kaepernick was banned by the organization. Freddie Gibbs was among those who showed his support for Jay-Z.

The "Built for This" rapper took to his Instagram account to weigh in on the matter. "I'm riding with Jay-Z, straight up," said Freddie. "F**k Colin Kaepernick."

"All y'all n****s marched for Colin Kaepernick and he took a settlement and aint tell y'all what he got or nothing. He settled. Let it go. Y'all hating on Jay-Z for tryna own something in the NFL. Y'all n****s some muthaf***in' crabs," he reasoned.

Freddie was the latest hip-hop star who supported Jay-Z for his dealings. Prior to this, Cardi B revealed that she believed the husband of Beyonce Knowles "can make a change." The Grammy winner added, "I feel like he didn't went on an NFL deal without an agreement. I feel like he went in there like, 'Alright, if you guys want me to work with y'all, y'all need to bring my people in here. Y'all need to do things my way.' I feel like he's gonna change it."

Meanwhile, Colin himself appeared to take a jab at the Roc Nation founder in his recent Instagram post. The 31-year-old, who has never been hired after leaving the San Francisco 49er for free agent in 2017, was seemingly taking aim at Jay-Z for saying that NFL had "moved past kneeling." He took to Instagram on Sunday, August 18 to urge his friends Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson II of Miami Dolphins, as well as Carolina Panther's Eric Reid to continue the protest.

All three players continue to kneel during the national anthem after Colin started it. "My Brothers @e_reid35 @kstills @ithinkisee12 continue to fight for the people, even in the face of death threats," Colin wrote. "They have never moved past the people and continue to put their beliefs into action. Stay strong Brothers!!!"

In response to the backlash that he received after the partnership was made public, Jay stressed that their deal was "the next phase" to bring attention to social injustice. "There [are] two parts of protesting. You go outside and you protest, and then the company or the individual says, 'I hear you. What do we do next?' " he said during a press conference with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

"For me it's like action, [an] actionable item, what are we gonna do with it? Everyone heard, we hear what you're saying, and everybody knows I agree with what you're saying [in Colin's underlying message]," he continued. "So what are we gonna do? You know what I'm saying? [Help] millions and millions of people, or we get stuck on Colin not having a job."
