AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen isn't shy of admitting that she's had cosmetic procedure. The 33-year-old model and mother of two took to her social media account on Tuesday, August 13 to reveal that she just got botox in her armpits.
The "Lip Sync Battle" co-host shared on Instagram Stories a video of her getting the procedure done by famed Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond. In the clip, she can be seen biting down a towel in anticipation of the pain from the injection. After several shots, she was surprised to learn that it wasn't as hurt as she had thought it would've been. "That really isn't anything," she boasted.
Chrissy explained in the caption that she got the procedure to prevent her from sweating. "BOTOXED MY ARMPITS," she wrote over the clip, calling it "TRULY BEST MOVE I HAVE EVER MADE." She then proudly claimed that she now can "wear silk again without soaking woohoo!"
One Twitter user was apparently not convinced enough that the procedure was not painful and asked the wife of John Legend, "How bad did this hurt?" She kindly replied, "no more soaking through silk! truly didn't hurt at all! but I also do laser hair removal there so my pain tolerance might be quite high."
This isn't the first time Chrissy is being honest about getting work done to her armpits. In a 2017 interview with Refinery29, she revealed, "I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things."
"It's a big secret, but I don't care," she went on revealing. "It was nine years ago or so. And I had two inches to my armpit. Now it's back though, so now I've gotta pay for [liposuction] again."
Having zero regret about it, the "Bring the Funny" host explained her decision to get liposuction, "It was so easy. It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I've ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly."
