Claiming that he has 'a feeling' the Disney Channel series might be making a return, the 'Achy Breaky Heart' hitmaker adds that he has 'always wanted like a prequel.'

AceShowbiz - Billy Ray Cyrus has teased that he'd love to see "Hannah Montana" reboot.

The "Achy Breaky Heart" hitmaker's daughter Miley Cyrus shot to fame as the face of the Disney Channel series, which ran from 2006 to 2011 and scored a box office hit movie musical and a number of chart hits. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight Canada, the 57-year-old suggested the franchise could be heading back to screens in the future.

"I have a feeling it might. It could. Everything is possible," he shared. "Certainly worth thinking about. It sounds fun to me. I've always wanted like a prequel."

The star went on to reveal he's often led by his intuition, and believes his instincts are a natural gift, adding: "God gave me a gift of every now and then I might get a feeling about something."

"I had that feeling about (his 1992 hit) 'Achy Breaky Heart'. I had a feeling about 'Hannah Montana'. I felt that Miley was Hannah Montana. That show was gonna be a hit."

Earlier this year, Miley gave fans the ultimate throwback when she debuted her new hairstyle on Instagram, and claimed the flowing blonde locks and full fringe were inspired by her career-starting alter-ego.

"It was so hard going back and forth that I decided I'll just be Hannah forever," the 26-year-old teased.
