AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt is still reeling from pal Spike Jonze's house attack in April, insisting this is why celebrities need to spend a fortune on security.
The director was chased out of his own home by a knife-wielding intruder and his good friend Pitt is still jarred about the story.
"Spike Jonze woke up one morning to a man with a knife in his house," he says. "He chased him out of his own house and locked him out. He was in his boxers. His dog didn't make it out with him."
"The guy holed himself up in his house for four hours until he drank all his liquor and passed out and the S.W.A.T team got him out. Crazy."
Jonze spent hours outside his Los Feliz home in Los Angeles during a police stand-off on 30 April.
Ironically, Pitt's new Quentin Tarantino film "Once Upon a Time In Hollywood" climaxes with a home invasion linked to the Manson Family murders in the late 1969.
