AceShowbiz - So are they dating or not? Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello appeared to further fuel romance rumors between them after videos of them going out and about in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, July 27 hit the web.

Fans spotted the alleged couple spending some time together at the Oxford Exchange, a popular coffee house and bookstore. In some videos shared by fans on Instagram and Twitter, the "In My Blood" artist, who was set to perform on the same day at the Amalie Arena, and the "Havana" songstress can be seen walking hand-in-hand around a hotel in Tampa.

During their casual outing, the pair also took time to actually speak with some fans who came to greet them. "shawn says hi to us and walks to the tea bar with camila, (that's in the 4th video. So then we see Shawn and Camila sit down at the tea bar and we are like freaking out but quietly and odv not going up to them. Then we just see them laughing and smiling at each other and stuff while shawn and camila are drinking their tea," one fan said in her post.

She went on saying that Shawn and Camila were totally friendly to the fans so she decided to go them as well. "I say 'hi i love you guys so much like you mean the world to me.' and Camila says 'omg hi cutie how old are you?' i say '12 almost 13.' " The excited fan added, "THEN SHAWN HIS HANDS OUT TO HUG ME AND LET ME TELL YOU HE SMELLS AMAZING! Then I HUG THE CAMILA!"

Another video saw Camila linked her arm around Shawn's at the cafe. "holy s**t," the fan captioned the clip.

Fans have been wondering if the two were dating after they released their steamy collaboration "Senorita". Additionally, the Canadian singer recently sparked discussion after he dodged a fan's question about their relationship during a recent Q&A session in the city. When asked what inspired him to write "Senorita", the singer responded, "I love you guys, have a great time," before blowing a kiss to the audience and exiting the stage.

While the audience laughed, some fans dubbed Shawn's action "kinda rude". Another comment read, "I love Shawn but the fact he's dodging questions about his damn music it's rude and annoying. He's becoming childish and acting like a diva. And then can he put himself in that fan's shoes? Imagine you're asking a question and someone just leaves and ignores you, not cute."

Aware of the negative response he was getting, Shawn took to his Twitter account to clarify things on Sunday morning. "Hey! There was no bad intention here," the "Treat You Better" hitmaker said in a now-deleted tweet. "If you were there you would have known it was the last question & that's why I decided to turn it into a light hearted funny goodbye! Sorry if that upset anyone, I adore you guys! No need for any negativity."
