Relatives of the tragically-killed Latin singer have teamed up with officials at Sony Music Latin and Blackbird Presents to produce the one-off show titled 'Jenni Rivera 50'.

AceShowbiz - Late Latin singer Jenni Rivera is set to be saluted with an all-star concert special to mark what would have been her 50th birthday.

The Mexican-American star was tragically killed in a 2012 plane crash, aged 43, and now her relatives, who are in charge of her estate via Jenni Rivera Enterprises, have teamed up with officials at her label Sony Music Latin and concert production firm Blackbird Presents to stage a big gig in her memory.

Performers and a date for the upcoming Los Angeles event have yet to be announced, but Rivera would have hit the age milestone on July 2.

"It's hard to put into words what Jenni Rivera means to the Latino community and women worldwide," Keith Wortman, CEO and Executive Producer of Blackbird Presents, writes in a statement issued to Variety.

"Jenni's legacy is defined by the many lives she touched through her music and philanthropic endeavors. We are honored to bring family, friends, and artists together with fans to celebrate Jenni Rivera's life and music, and expand her legacy for many generations to come."

The artist's sister, Rosie Rivera Flores, adds: "Jenni loved to throw huge parties in celebration of life. Our favorite sisters' dates were at concerts of our favorite artists and it gives us joy to see those same artists line up to sing her songs. It's an honor that Blackbird will join the Rivera Family in celebrating The Diva's life."

Titled "Jenni Rivera 50", the one-off show will be recorded for a TV broadcast, and released on record.

A portion of proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation, which aids single mothers in need.
