Las Vegas police said that Garcia, who appeared on the show 3 years ago, was sleeping on the sidewalk of a shopping center early Saturday morning before getting into an argument with the security guard.

AceShowbiz - "True Life" alum Max Garcia was reportedly murdered on Saturday, June 29. According to multiple reports, Garcia was shot to death by security guard Brian Love, with whom he was involved in an argument. Max was 27.

Garcia reportedly was having a hard time before his death. He was homeless and couch surfed with her and friends for a few days at a time before leaving. According to girlfriend Lexi Gibson, Garcia would stay with her or his friends for a few days at a time, and insisted on not overstaying his welcome.

Despite his difficult time, Garcia, who has two daughters, was said to be working hard on getting back on his feet. "When he left my house a few days ago, he told me that when we gets all of his stuff together physically, that he would show up with a ring and I would be his,” Lexi said to Las Vegas' 8 News Now.

Las Vegas police said that Garcia, who appeared on the MTV show 3 years ago, was sleeping on the sidewalk of a shopping center early Saturday morning. Surveillance cameras in front of the Skinny Fats near the 215 and Decatur showed Love pulled out his gun and shot Garcia at least six times before getting into his truck and speeding off.

Since Love didn't call the police right after the shooting, detectives revealed that Garcia's body wasn't found until seven hours later by Bruce Costa, a worker at Massage Envy. "It hurts when someone gets shot, especially somebody who is homeless," Costa said. "For someone to break out a gun and shoot an individual is kind of scary."

Love reportedly was fired from his security position from SOS Security. He is currently facing a charge of murder with the use of a deadly weapon.
