In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the former New York Yankees pro says that he and the makeup mogul talked about 'how rich she is' during the annual event.

AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner isn't the type of person who likes to call out people on social media, but she recently did just that after Alex Rodriguez dished on the conversation they had at the Met Gala in a new interview with Sports Illustrated. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, June 25, the Kylie Cosmetics founder debunked his claim.

During the interview, the former New York Yankees pro said he and Kylie enjoyed dinner while talking about her billionaire status. "We had a great table," Alex recalled, noting that he sat with Kylie, Kendall Jenner, Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina Dhowre. "We had Kylie and Kendall, Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is."

His last line appeared to be bothering Kylie a lot, given that it could give the wrong impression to those who read the interview. Thus, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star quickly denied the claim by writing on Twitter, "Umm no I didn't. We only spoke about Game of Thrones." Calling out the MLB analyst, Kylie added shrug and facepalm emojis.

Many people choose to believe the mother of one because she rarely shades people on social media. "Lmfao I believe her because she never call people out...das how u know," one said. "You know Kylie is mad when she calls you out," another similarly wrote.

Earlier this year, Kylie was named the youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes on account of her success with Kylie Cosmetics, dethroning Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg who was 23 when he became a billionaire. "I didn't expect anything. I did not foresee the future," she said in an interview with the magazine. "But [the recognition] feels really good. That's a nice pat on the back."

Talking about the success of her makeup line, Kylie credited her already large social media followers at the time of the launch. "It's the power of social media," she continued. "I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything."
