AceShowbiz - Luke Perry's daughter has paid a belated Father's Day tribute to her dad after celebrating the holiday without him for the first time.
The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star died after suffering a stroke in March, and his daughter Sophie has been mourning his loss ever since.
The 19-year-old took to social media on Monday, June 17, apologising for the delay due to a bad internet connection from Malawi in Africa.
"I know this is comin at u a day late but Malawian internet really didn't want to help me out so... it is Father's Day, and dad I miss and love you dearly," she wrote, noting that Father's Day on Sunday fell on her brother Jack Perry's birthday.
"But today is a special day for another reason," she added. "To the brother that blows all others out of the water. To the mentor who taught me to be brave. To the boy who I wrestled with on the trampoline. To the man who is everything I ever wanted to be. Happy birthday, you beautiful beaver boy."
Sophie, who was in Malawi when she heard her father had suffered a stroke, also posted photos of herself with her brother and their late father, and shots of her dad with his TV son KJ Apa, calling the "Riverdale" star "the second sarcastic brother I didn't know I needed."
Sophie is currently in Malawi helping to build a school.
