AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez is seemingly more than ready to close the social media chapter of her past romance with Justin Bieber. A fan had noticed that the 26-year-old actress had deleted all traces of the "Despacito" hitmaker on her Instagram account, and her fans rejoiced over her action.

A fan page for "The Dead Don't Die" actress revealed that Selena "finally deleted her birthday [post] to ex boyfriend #Justin Bieber from 2018." The said post saw the former Disney darling giving a birthday shout-out to Justin as she wrote, "March 1, 1994 someone that I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom."

Fans in the comment section didn't hold back their support as one of them wrote, "Amen thank u God finally giving her the strength to remove it ,Ameeeeeeeeen." Another fan commented, "About damn time!!!!!!!," while one other added, "“Finally the end of a chapter. New beginnings, a better future, a brighter future awaits her."

Selena and Justin dated on-and-off for quite long time. The young stars reconciled briefly only to split in March 2018. In October that year, the brunette beauty reportedly suffered an "emotional breakdown" months after her breakup from the "Sorry" crooner. Selena entered a mental health treatment facility for a few months before reappearing in December 2018.

Apparently, Selena deleting Justin-related post was not enough for fans as they hoped for a total new beginning. One person urged the actress to delete all the post which was related to her other ex The Weeknd. "She should've deleted the posts of Abel too...cut all the mens from roots," the person said of the "Starboy" singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye.

Selena and The Weeknd dated for a few months before breaking up for good. While Selena has yet to be in a new relationship after the split, the "I Feel It Coming" hitmaker is now rekindling his romance with ex Bella Hadid.
