AceShowbiz - An upcoming Kansas country music festival featuring headlining sets by Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, and Old Dominion has been relocated due to flooding fears.
Organisers had been planning to hold the 24th annual event at Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan, Kansas, but severe storms in the area in recent weeks have forced them to rethink the festival site, which is located in an area currently under a flood watch.
Now the three-day concert will take place at the Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, a short drive away.
"Safety is our main concern. The severe weather prompted us to partner with the good folks over at Heartland Motorsports in Topeka... to ensure all of our concertgoers will be out of harm's way," Wayne Rouse, president of Kicker Country Stampede, shares in a statement.
The Kicker Country Stampede 2019 will take place from June 20 to 22.
