Thomas Markle isn't a fan of how the Lifetime TV movie depicts his situation, saying that it's littered with tons of 'dumb fiction' while insisting that he never bailed on the royal wedding.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle's dad Thomas Markle has broken his silence on Lifetime's TV movie about the drama surrounding him, Meghan and Prince Harry prior to the royal wedding in May 2018. According to TMZ, the former lighting director lets the world know that he's not a fan of "Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal", which aired on May 27 on the network.

In the movie, one scene showed the moment fictional Meghan (Tiffany Marie Smith) having a phone call with fictional Thomas where he told her he wouldn't be able to come to her wedding due to "heart palpitations." Meghan was upset because she had to hear it through the tabloids.

Additionally, Meghan confronted her dad about his staged paparazzi photos. Fake Harry also chimed in, saying that he shouldn't have been talking/dealing with the paparazzi in the first place. In his defense, Thomas said that it was Samantha's idea instead of his. "Samantha thought it would be a good idea to have the paparazzi take staged pictures of me so I could look better in the eyes of the public," he said of Meghan's half sister.

Meanwhile, It is said that the real-life Thomas doesn't agree on the movie's depiction on his situation, saying that it's littered with tons of "dumb fiction." Thomas insists that he never bailed on the royal wedding, unlike what it's shown in the Lifetime film. Additionally, he reveals that he couldn't possibly attend the ceremony and walk Meghan down the aisle because of his heart surgery.

Thomas goes on saying that "he's incredibly disappointed" with how Lifetime portrays the situation. He also feels that he is "personally attacked" by the network.
