The devotee took to Twitter to reveal she was pulled over by traffic police for driving at almost 30 miles per hour over the speed limit.
The unnamed student wrote: "Driving home from Penn State (University) I got pulled over/given a ticket for the first time ever and when asked why I was going 99 in a 70 (zone) I was - dangerously - close to admitting I was bangin out to @halsey's new song Nightmare."
Halsey offered to pay a fan's speeding ticket.
Halsey heard about the confession and responded, "What's your Venmo (mobile payment service). I'll pay your ticket. DRIVE SAFELY PLEASE!!!!"
