'Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar', the spin-off from 'Bridesmaids', will no longer be shooting in the state after Governor Brian Kemp signed restrictive abortion laws.

AceShowbiz - Comedienne Kristen Wiig's upcoming comedy has become the latest Hollywood project to boycott the state of Georgia after state legislators signed strict abortion restrictions into law.
The star's production of "Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar" - a spin-off from her hit comedy "Bridesmaids" - will no longer be shooting in the state in light of the 'heartbeat bill' that outlaws abortions when a fetal heartbeat is detected.
Since Governor Brian Kemp signed the bill earlier this month, several projects have abandoned productions in Georgia as part of a Hollywood protest against the restrictive abortion laws.
"Ozark" star Jason Bateman, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams, and "Get Out" filmmaker Jordan Peele, as well as other film and TV heavyweights have also pledged to take their entertainment business out of the state to oppose the bill.
Georgia has been a favourite location for various TV and film projects for years due to tax incentives in the state.
