AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has received more support from her friends and closed ones as she continues receiving treatment for her mental health issue. Hours after the pop star addressed "crazy online rumors" about her rehab stay, she got tremendous support from celebrity friends, including Miley Cyrus and JWoww.
Miley wrote in the comment section of Britney Instagram post, "We love u so much queen." The "Jersey Shore" star, whose real name is Jenny Farley, added, "Love you Britney," while the likes of Hayley Kiyoko, Delta Goodrem and Steve Aoki sent their love to the 37-year-old singer.
Britney's boyfriend Sam Asghari also commented on her post, "Sometimes showing respect and privacy is the best support people can offer." Meanwhile, one of her backup dancers, Willie Gomez, wrote, "Love you babe sending all the positive energy during this little time off to you and the family."
Britney broke her silence to clarify wild rumors that she was being held in a mental institution against her will. Addressing her "unique" situation, she wrote in the caption of a video, "I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There's rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said."
"I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that's happening is just making it harder for me. Don't believe everything you read and hear," she continued. "My situation is unique, but I promise I'm doing what's best at this moment. You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you."
She additionally promised that she would be back "very soon."
Later that day, she was spotted stepping out to grab some frozen yogurt in Santa Monica, California. A source told E! News, "Britney was spotted out getting frozen yogurt with an assistant and her bodyguard. She was driven to the shop, went inside and picked up a fro-yo and left." The source added, "She seemed really put together very centered and calm."
Britney returned on Instagram a day later on Wednesday to share her workout video. She wrote in the caption, "Who knew stress would be a great 5 pound weight loss. Yay for me."
