The 'Glass' actor is featured rocking a plaid shirt in the new photo from the upcoming horror movie, in which he portrays a member of the adult Losers' Club.

AceShowbiz - "It: Chapter 2" director Andy Muschietti has shared a new photo from the movie, giving a first look at James McAvoy in character. The Scottish actor portrays the grown-up Bill Denbrough, whose search for his missing brother Georgie led him and his friends to encounters with Pennywise in the first film.

McAvoy dons a plaid shirt which is left unbuttoned on top of a dark blue T-shirt as he seems to be wandering around the neighborhood in the image. It appears that his fashion style hasn't changed a lot since the 2017 movie, which features Jaeden Lieberher as the younger version of the leader of the Losers Club.

Muschietti wishes the actor a happy belated birthday in the caption, writing, "And a happy belated birthday to the great @jamesmcavoyrealdeal who will thrust his f-f-fists against anything that moves in September 6 #billdenbrough #itchapter2."

"It: Chapter 2" is set in the present, 27 years after the events of the first film. The now grown-up kids return to their Maine hometown and have to face Pennywise once again.

Bill Skarsgard returns as the evil clown, with the original child actors reprising their respective roles. Jessica Chastain plays an adult Beverly Marsh (Sophia Lillis), Bill Hader is the adult version of Richie Tozier (Finn Wolfhard), Isaiah Mustafa is the elder Mike Hanlon (Chosen Jacobs), Jay Ryan stars as grown-up Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Ray Taylor), James Ransone is an adult Eddie Kaspbrak (Jack Dylan Grazer), and Andy Bean is cast as the older version of Stan Uris (Wyatt Oleff).

Muschietti previously talked about how he decided who should play the adult version of the misfit group. "I wanted the adult Losers to be believable and that people believed that we're talking about the same people," he said. "It was a journey of finding and looking. I'm proud to say that all of the people I wanted in the movie finally landed in it. It was so incredible to find all the people standing here were so excited to be a part of it."

The "It" sequel is heading into theaters across the nation on September 6.
