AceShowbiz - Rapper Travis Scott (II) has been ordered to pay up in his legal spat with a 2018 Super Bowl gig promoter.
The hitmaker skipped out of a show in Minnesota on the eve of last year's Super Bowl, citing bad weather conditions and logistics, but organisers were convinced he just wanted to stay at home and spend more time with his baby Stormi, who was born two days before the gig.
And the members of a jury have agreed with the plaintiffs, awarding PJAM officials over $382,000 (£294,000).
Travis' attorney, Howard King, tells TMZ, "The jury verdict is disappointing, but far less than the seven figure demands made by the promoters. We believe the verdict will be substantially reduced or overturned in subsequent proceedings."
Filing their lawsuit in March, 2018, PJAM bosses claimed they paid Travis a $150,000 (£115,500) advance and shelled out for a private jet, but the rap star axed the gig hours before he was scheduled to take the stage.
