The 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' host was tapped to take over Ryan Seacrest's co-hosting duties for the show's April 15 episode when the accidental groping happened.

AceShowbiz - What an episode! Kelly Ripa brought along her longtime friend Andy Cohen to take over Ryan Seacrest's co-hosting duties in the Monday, April 15 episode of "Live with Kelly and Ryan".

During the episode, Kelly did an embarrassing mishap when she walked onto the set of the talk show alongside the "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" host. The 48-year-old blonde beauty, who walked ahead of Andy, meant to grab her co-host's hand once they greeted the crowd.

However, instead of his hand, Kelly accidentally grabbed his crotch. Andy quickly recovered following the mishap as he guided her hand back to his, though it didn't stop them from being captured giving each other hilarious shocked faces.

The two friends later addressed the accidental groping. "I'm sorry! When we came out, I was not expecting the car to be there and I went to grab Andy’s hand, and I grabbed your crotch by accident," Kelly said, referring to a car that was placed on the set. "I apologize. Nothing says Tax Day like that."

Andy responded jokingly as he said, "I love to be touched and I’ll take it any way I can get it!" The Bravo executive also took to his Instagram account to share the hilarious moment.

Posting a picture of them sporting equally shocked expressions with their mouths open, the SiriusXM radio host wrote over the pic, "Kelly reached around for my hand, but instead grabbed m'crotch!"

During the episode, Andy talked about his son Benjamin whom he welcomed via surrogate back in February. Kelly said that spending time with the newborn makes her "want to have another baby." However, it seemed like she had to throw away the idea as her husband Mark Consuelos was not on board.

"I was putting it out there for [Mark] last night," shared Kelly. "He was like, 'It's all right. Let's be grateful for what we have.' But then he put on 'Game of Thrones' and fell asleep, which was the anti-aphrodisiac."
