AceShowbiz - It's heartbreaking. A new report suggests that Nipsey Hussle, who was gunned down last month in front of his South Central Los Angeles store, left behind his girlfriend Lauren London who is pregnant with his child.
According to MTO News, Lauren is 8 weeks pregnant. The "ATL" alum is further said to be planning to announce the pregnancy next month.
Nipsey was pronounced dead after being shot on the head and torso outside his Marathon Clothing store in Crenshaw, Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31. Following the death of the rapper, Lauren took to Instagram to share her feelings about the disheartening news. "I am completely lost," she wrote. "I've lost my best friend My sanctuary My protector My soul... I'm lost without you We are lost without you babe I have no words."
Many have been sending supportive message for Lauren. Jennifer Lopez wrote in the comment section, "Sending you love and praying for God to give you and your family all the strength you may need during this time." Alicia Keys also sent support to the reality TV star, writing, "Soulmates forever! We are all Sending you, your babies and your family the brightest most protective and loving collective unified light beautiful sister."
The hip-hop star's family is planning to arrange a huge memorial service for the slain rapper. The service reportedly will take place on Thursday, April 11 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 21,000 seat venue will be opened for public, but the tickets are limited.
Recently, it was revealed that Los Angeles Police Department is currently on the hunt to figure out who tried to commit another bloody act at a Nipsey memorial which ended in chaos following a suspected gunshot. Police initially assured that the noise wasn't a gunshot, but now it has been reported that police are starting to believe the gunshot was real and someone was trying to commit murder that night.
Two people were actually shot during the vigil. One woman, who was shot in the buttocks, said she heard a "loud, rapid succession of gunshots from an unknown direction." Meanwhile, 19 people were injured with at least two critically injured. One person was additionally stabbed, while another one was accidentally hit by a car.
