AceShowbiz - Country stars celebrated one of the biggest nights for them at the 54th Academy of County Music Awards, which took place at at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7. Hosted by Reba McEntire, the event handed a slew of honors of the folk in the country music industry with Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban and Dan + Shay among the winners.
Prior to that, the stars took time to grace the red carpet, showing off their styles. Among those who turned heads on the red carpet was Maren Morris, who looked adorable yet daring in stunning sleeveless lavender dress with wide ruffles that beautifully offset her long, blonde locks. She completed her lilac-themed look with matching eye shadow and sparkling heels.
Also opting for a sexy look was Cassadee Pope. The "Think of You" singer looked amazing in a white Vitor Zerbinato gown that featured midsection cutouts, a thigh-high slit and virtually no back. Further adding the glam in her look, she wore Loriblu shoes, earrings and ring by Marisa Clermann and Jack Vartanian as well as a Judith Leiber clutch.
Dan Smyers from Dan + Shay, on the other hand, arrived while bringing colors to the red carpet. He opted for a blue suit, while Shay Mooney was dressed in a grey suit with a black tee underneath. The two were among the big winners that night as they nabbed the trophies for Song of the Year, Single of the Year, both of them were thanks to their song "Tequila", in addition to taking home the award for Vocal Duo of the Year.
Meanwhile, Thomas Rhett graced the red carpet in patterned black suit with a bow tie. Joining him on the red carpet were Maddie & Tae, Lauren Alaina, Khalid and Jason Aldean among others.
