First gaining fame through several of his SoundCloud songs, which have been streamed million times on the music-sharing platform, Nav continues to pave his way to success by collaborating with big names in the industry. For instances, he joined forces with Travis Scott (II) on "Beibs in the Trap" as well as with The Weeknd on "Same Way". Both tracks were certified platinum by the RIAA.

Not only collaborations, but his solo material is also greatly appreciated by both fans and music critics. His debut commercial album, "Reckless", debuted at No. 8 on Billboard 200 and topped New Zealand Heatseeker Albums chart. It was such an impressive feat considering that this was only his debut album. Songs off the album have also been streamed more than half-billion times.

With such a praise-worthy career, fans were surely shocked when he announced his retirement earlier this year. Fortunately, his retirement was short-lived and he came back stronger than ever two months after that. Releasing his second sophomore album "Bad Habits", Nav scored his first No. 1 album on Billboard 200. "Bad Habits" additionally topped Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Canadian Albums.

Considering all the hard work that he had been putting for the project, it was only natural that Nav got emotional after hearing the news. Taking to social media, he said, "I just cried y'all!
