After realizing her mistake, the frontwoman of Fleetwood Mac immediately apologizes and corrects it as saying, 'I'm never gonna live that one down,' at the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony.

AceShowbiz - Everyone makes mistakes, even a big star like Stevie Nicks. She apparently still confuses the name of boy bands. Attending the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York on Friday, March 29, the frontwoman of Fleetwood Mac accidentally referred to her stage collaborator, Harry Styles, as a former member of NSYNC.

Stevie made the funny mistake when speaking to reporters backstage following the induction ceremony. "When Harry decided to make a solo record from NSYNC," she said, before quickly realizing her mistake and corrected it immediately. "Not NSYNC, sorry. I'm never gonna live that one down. One Direction."

"Well I like One Direction too!" the songstress then joked, before gushing over the British heartthrob. "When Harry decided to make a record, he could have gone one of two ways. He could have made a really serious pop record, which would have been much less of a risk, or he could have made a rock 'n roll record and take a risk, and he did... This beautiful child should have been born in 1948, too, because he just fits in with all of us."

Earlier in the night, Stevie and Harry joined forces to open the annual ceremony, singing her collaboration with Tom Petty, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around". Skillfully playing his guitar during the rendition, the "Kiwi" singer took over the late musician's part. Following the performance, Harry took the stage again to induct Stevie, whom he called "God."

"Stevie Nicks is the first female artist to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the second time," he said during his introduction. "She's the magical gypsy godmother who occupies the in-between. She's responsible for more running mascara, including my own that all the bad dates in history... She is everything you ever wanted in a lady, a lover and a friend."

Other musician who were inducted at this year's ceremony included Radiohead, The Cure, Roxy Music and Janet Jackson.
