While the Toronto venue officials put the blame on 'scheduling conflicts', DJ Showtime suggests in a deleted post that the 'ZEZE' hitmaker and his tour party were being turned back at the border.

AceShowbiz - Kodak Black was forced to postpone a show in Vancouver after he was denied entry to Canada, according to his tour DJ.

The "ZEZE" hitmaker, born Dieuson Octave, was due to perform at the city's PNE Forum on Tuesday, March 26, as part of his "Dying to Live" tour.

Kodak's show was postponed at the last minute, with an official announcement from venue bosses blaming the show being pushed to May on "scheduling conflicts".

However, his tour turntablist, DJ Showtime, claimed the last minute cancellation was down to their party being turned back at the U.S.-Canada border.

"I didn't know it's was so hard getting into Canada, but for all the fans who wanted to see Kodak Black tonight sorry," he wrote in an Instagram post that has since been deleted from the social media site. "Y'all government don't play the radio, just know we tried to get in there for y'all and Kodak is very upset about the outcome of this situation. #DyingToLiveTour."

Several other hip-hop and R&B stars have been denied entry to Canada due to previous legal issues, including Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and, most recently The Game, who was refused a visa in January.

Black, 21, has a chequered past, having served time in youth detention centres and faced multiple felony charges. Last February he pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana, and was sentenced to 364 days in prison less time served. He was released in August.
