AceShowbiz - Chikezie Eze, who competed in the seventh season of "American Idol", is so desperate to find his estranged wife and their children that he has finally turned to his fans to help find them. Speaking with TMZ, the singer claimed that his ex, Linda Iruke, had taken their two children and had not been able to be located since a year ago.

Giving further details about the issue, Eze explained that Iruke had been unresponsive since early 2018, even her family couldn't get in touch with her. He also said that he recently filed legal docs asking that the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office be granted authorization to find the woman and their children. According to the document obtained by the publication, the children are believed to have been "taken, detained and concealed" by Iruke.

"She's cut everyone off, which is probably the thing that makes me the most concerned," Eze told the news outlet. "I just want to speak on her family and how amazing they've been in this whole process. They've been very supportive -- her siblings, her mom." He added, "We all want the same thing. We all want the kids to be safe. We all want the kids to be home."

Elsewhere in the interview, the "Hushes and Moans" singer gave a birthday shout-out to his son, assuming that he could hear him. "Happy birthday, big guy," he said. "Daddy loves you. Grandpa and Grandma love you, too. Everybody is thinking about you every single day, and we're going to see you soon, okay? We're going to see you soon."

Eze filed for divorce from Iruke in May of last year after seven years of marriage. Prior to the divorce filing, Iruke was granted a restraining order against Eze as she claimed that he had abused her in the past and threatened her.
