Decision to bar Lance Lazarro from representing the 'Fefe' rapper amid conflict of interest concerns has been revoked after the judge presiding over the case reviewed new evidence.

AceShowbiz - Rapper 6ix9ine a.k.a. Tekashi69 is celebrating a small legal victory after winning approval to retain a former attorney again.

The embattled hip-hop star lost Lance Lazarro after the judge presiding over his case covering multiple charges, including conspiracy to murder and racketeering, revoked the legal expert's privilege to represent the "Fefe" hitmaker amid conflict of interest concerns.

Lazarro was originally taken off the case because he previously represented Shotti, real name Kifano Jordan, and Crippy, real name Faheem Walter, former friends of Tekashi who are also co-defendants in the case against him.

The judge suspected Lazarro may have been privy to "intimate knowledge" and "privileged communications" related to Shotti and Crippy's affairs that could be improperly used to defend Tekashi, but he has since reviewed new evidence, including an affidavit the attorney recently submitted, which suggested proper legal conduct, and the decision has been reversed.

According to The Blast, all the rapper has to do now is sign off on hiring Lazarro as his head attorney again and formally tell the court about his representation decision at an upcoming hearing on March 28.

Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, initially protested his innocence in the case, but he pleaded guilty to nine criminal charges in February after prosecutors linked him to New York's Nine Trey Gangster Bloods gang.

The 22-year-old was previously facing life imprisonment, with a minimum of 32 years behind bars, but it is unclear how the change in plea will affect his punishment.
