While some groups have confirmed their reunion, some others are still teasing their fans who have been wishing for a reunion for so long.

AceShowbiz - When a group who has split up or taken a long hiatus makes their comeback after so long, it's only natural for fans to go crazy about it. And that's exactly what happened to Jonas Brothers fans when the three-piece band released their first single in late last month after nearly six years of split.

Entitled "Sucker", the single debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and the U.S. Hot Digital Songs chart, with 88,000 copies sold in its first week. It marked the band's first No. 1 single in the country and helped them become the second group in a lead role in history to have a song debuted at No. 1 after Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing".

Making fans more excited, Jonas Brothers recently teased that "Sucker" wouldn't be the only new song that fans get to listen. Joe Jonas said that the band had "probably 30, 40 songs recorded that we can't wait to release," while Kevin Jonas promised that there would be "so much more to come." Meanwhile, Nick Jonas hinted that the band would be going on a tour as saying, "So hopefully later on this year, we'll get back out on the road and play some of this new music."

Jonas Brothers isn't the only band whom fans have been hoping to get back together. We have listed several music groups whose reunions have been anticipated the most by die hard fans, so let's take a look!

1. Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush

If Disney had Jonas Brothers, Nickelodeon had Big Time Rush. Thus, when the siblings group made their comeback after nearly six years, fans of Big Time Rush have started hoping that their favorite group will also reunite. One fan even came up with a wild theory suggesting that the group will make a comeback this year. Much to everyone's surprise, Carlon Pena Jr. and Kendall Schmidth responded to the theory by teasing a reunion.

"Hmm... I had never thought of it that way... interesting.. well I guess if the math is right," Carlos replied to the theory, while Kendall said, "I double checked this, and the math definitely adds up." Further fueling speculation rumors, fans notice that Kendall, Carlos and James Maslow have started following their former bandmate Logan Henderson on social media.

2. Take That

Take That

Take That was one of the most popular groups in England during their era, so a reunion between the members has always been something that people hope for. In late last year, the group surprised fans when they staged a performance in the season finale of "The X Factor" U.K. version. This prompted fans to anticipate the band's reunion even more, and Robbie Williams apparently thought the same.

When asked whether the band would get together again, he hinted, "As long as we stay healthy, I'm sure there will be another moment where we all get together. Maybe we can coax Jason [Orange] back, who knows? We shall have to see. But definitely, definitely in the future. We will all ride again."

3. Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin

Ever since the passing of their drummer John Bonham, Led Zeppelin constantly refused the idea of reuniting because frontman Robert Plant didn't enjoy being onstage without the late musician. However, rumors have sparked since last year saying that the surviving members of the band will likely reunite to perform at the 2019 Glastonbury Festival.

A source said at the time, "This year, the odds suggest there's a good chance of that becoming a reality." When asked about the rumors, Plant played coy by saying, "You either want to do something, or you don't. You can, or you can't." The full lineup for the upcoming festival itself has yet to be announced, so fans are still getting their hopes up.

4. Hootie & the Blowfish

Hootie & the Blowfish

Hootie & the Blowfish, a popular rock band that was formed in 1986, announced last year that they would be reuniting after 11 years of hiatus. The band made the announcement during their appearance on "Today", confirming that all original members are participating. "It's gonna be a party. It's gonna be a great time," frontman Darius Rucker said on the morning show.

Dubbed the "Group Therapy Tour", the 44-city trek is to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of their debut album "Cracked Rear View", which went platinum 16 times and remains one of the best-selling albums of all times. The tour will kick off on May 30 in Virginia Beach and end on September 19 in their hometown of Columbia, South Carolina. The band has also signed a record deal with UMG Nashville and will release a single in the spring before unveiling an album in the summer.

5. ABBA

ABBA

ABBA's greatest hits are still loved by people around the world even though the band split up in 1982. Thus, when the legendary Sweden group announced their reunion last year, fans unsurprisingly went wild. Their reunion will include new music and a reunion tour, though the band won't be performing live in person. The trek will be a virtual experience complete with special "Abbatars," which are clones of their younger selves.

As for their new songs, "I Still Have Faith in You" and "Don't Shut Me Down", they were actually set to be released last year. However, the release of the songs have been delayed until autumn of this year. Even though reps for the group did not disclose the reason behind the postponement, Benny Adersson said in an interview that legal complications had delayed the release.

6. Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath

Even after reuniting in 2012, Black Sabbath still decided to disband in 2017. Since then, fans have been wondering whether they would reunite again sometime in the future. Seemingly answering the question, frontman Ozzy Osbourne teased a potential reunion to mark the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the band's home town of Birmingham, England.

"Yeah, that would be fantastic," he said last year. "I'd like to do that. We're all Brummies after all." Further fueling the speculation, guitarist Tony Iommi said that he would totally join the reunion. "I think it would be a great thing to do to help represent Birmingham. I'm up for it! Let's see what happens!" Tony told Birmingham Live at the time.

7. Spice Girls

Spice Girls

Spice Girls' reunion was undoubtedly one that people look forward to the most ever since the girls confirmed it in February 2018. The famous English girl group announced that they would be touring the United Kingdom this year with Geri Halliwell, Melanie C, Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B and Emma Bunton participating. The tour will begin on May 24 in Dublin, Ireland and conclude on June 15 in London, England. There are 13 dates in total.

Victoria Beckham a.k.a. Victoria Adams, unfortunately, won't be joining her bandmates on the road, but showed her support for the project. "I won't be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year," she said last year.
