What actually drives the president mad is a rerun episode featuring Alec Baldwin reprising his role as Trump in an 'It's a Wonderful Life' parody.

AceShowbiz - President Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to rail against "Saturday Night Live", taking his fixation with the popular NBC comedy sketch to a whole new level. On early Sunday morning, March 17, POTUS threatened to launch a federal investigation to look into the series for constantly mocking him.

"It's truly incredible that shows like Saturday Night Live, not funny/no talent, can spend all of their time knocking the same person (me), over & over, without so much of a mention of 'the other side,' " the TV-star-turned-president said. "Like an advertisement without consequences. Same with Late Night Shows......"

"....Should Federal Election Commission and/or FCC look into this? There must be Collusion with the Democrats and, of course, Russia! Such one sided media coverage, most of it Fake News," Trump went on threatening. "Hard to believe I won and am winning. Approval Rating 52%, 93% with Republicans. Sorry! #MAGA."

What actually drove the president mad was a rerun episode featuring Alec Baldwin reprising his role as Trump in an "It's a Wonderful Life" parody. The sketch also saw Kenan Thompson playing the angel Clarence. It followed what Trump's life would have been like if Hillary Clinton won the election.

In the skit, Sarah Huckabee Sanders (Aidy Bryant) was depicted as a PR for "awesome" companies like Facebook, while Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon) revealed that she'd gotten her soul back from the devil after the campaign.

The parody also imagined the life that Trump's family members would have. Eric Trump (Alex Moffat), who is portrayed on the show as being mentally impaired, was seen succeeding in figuring out a Rubik's cube. As for Melania Trump (Cecily Strong), she had lost her accent and had her own real estate empire. The skit also introduced Hernia, played by cast member Heidi Gardner, as Trump's fourth wife.

Also making appearance in the skit, which first aired on December 15, 2018, were Ben Stiller as Michael Cohen, Robert De Niro as Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and Matt Damon as Brett Kavanaugh.

This is not the first time Trump blasted the comedy show. Back in February, the president tweeted, "Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into."
