Also bagging home three trophies like the former Nickelodeon star, Ella Mai dominates the R'n'B category.

AceShowbiz - The 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards has officially ended as some musicians were named the biggest winners at the annual award show, which took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 14. Among them were Ariana Grande and Ella Mai, who each won three awards during the star-studded celebration.

The former Nickelodeon darling snatched the coveted Artist of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for her latest album "Thank U, Next". Meanwhile, the British songstress dominated the R&B category by winning all of them. She took home R&B Song of the Year for her breakthrough hit "Boo'd Up", R&B Artist of the Year and Best New R&B Artist.

Also bagging several trophies during the T-Pain-hosted ceremony were Imagine Dragons, Taylor Swift and Zedd. While the rock band notched Most Thumped-Up Artist of the Year and Alternative Rock Artist of the Year, the pop superstar snatched Tour of the Year for her record-breaking "Reputation Stadium Tour" as well as Best Music Video for "Delicate". On the other hand, Zedd brought home Song of the Year and Dance Song of the Year for his Maren Morris and Grey collaboration "The Middle".

Elsewhere during the show, Alicia Keys was honored with Innovator Award. "Thank you so much. What a powerful, beautiful energy that's in here tonight!" she began her acceptance speech. "I feel y'all. So many amazing artists here tonight I'm sitting and chillin' with Taylor and Maren and we're talking."

"I gotta be honest with you it means so much to be honored as an innovator because when I first started out, nobody was like, 'Look at that tomboy from 'Hell's Kitchen' who graduated high school at 15, the one with the braids, who seems obsessed with her broken down piano … what a fantastic inovator she is.' Nobody said that," she added.

Recalling her music journey, she concluded, "I'm finally more myself than I've ever been and even though it's a constant process, I encourage you to continue to find the power and the beauty and the unique story in your own journey."

Other winners at the event included Panic at the Disco, BTS (Bangtan Boys) and Camila Cabello.
