AceShowbiz - Late last month, Porsha Williams and her fiance Dennis McKinley threw a stunning baby shower while they awaited the impending arrival of their first child, PJ. Now, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star has offered fans an inside look at the massive bash, which was attended by 80 guests and had winter wonderland as the theme.
The baby shower was held at Suado Studio in Atlanta and featured ice sculptures, white flowers and delicate linen napkins. Large snowflakes, gold chandeliers and balloon arrangement were also placed inside the venue to match the theme. While her guests were asked to wear white ensembles at the bash, the Bravo star stunned in a sheer floral rose gold dress from her Minx Star clothing line.
As for the food, guests could choose between organic kale salad, lemon rosemary chicken breast with caper sauce and pan-seared salmon with red-onion marmalade. For those who had sweet tooth, they were treated to banana pudding, peach cobbler and a hot-chocolate station. There was also a lavish display of desserts which included macaron towers, cheesecake shooters and cupcakes.
Of her decision to go with winter wonderland as the theme, Porsha told Us Weekly, "Since baby PJ is going to be my little princess, I wanted to focus on a winter wonderland theme right away. Because my shower was in February, winter was for sure a theme I wanted to stick with, but I also wanted all the glamor! ...It really ended up feeling like we were in the middle of a fairy tale."
Porsha went on dishing some of her favorite gifts that her guests brought for her and the unborn baby. "One of my favorite gifts was from my mother," she said. "She bought baby PJ a giant teddy bear that I just know she will adore!"
Talking to PEOPLE, she added of her baby shower, "The day was magical. It was amazing to walk into a room and feel that much love. I have such a tremendous support system around me and women who lift me up and are just so incredibly happy for me."
It's unclear when exactly Porsha's due date is, but she is expected to give birth soon.
