AceShowbiz - New mom Kenya Moore is learning new things every day, and that includes not changing your baby's diaper in public. "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star recalled on Thursday, February 28 an embarrassing incident where she got kicked out of an airport restaurant for attempting to change her daughter's, Brooklyn Daly, diaper.
In an Instagram post which was intended to promote an app for moms, Kenya revealed that the incident happened last week she was traveling to New York with the baby girl. Admitting that she was "so embarrassed" by the incident, the Bravo star said, "I go in the restaurant to have a bite to eat before my flight and she has a complete blowout."
"I put her down on the seat, I change her and then a manager comes over to me later with a plastic bag and says, 'number 1, you're not supposed to change diapers in a restaurant.' -- OK, who knew that? -- and 'number 2, here's the bag for the dirty diaper and you can take the fecal matter basically out with you,' " Kenya continued. "I cannot tell you how embarrassed I was."
One of her followers suggested that she could have stepped out of the restaurant and found a changing station because airports usually have it. In response to this, the TV personality said, "It was empty around me and no restrooms in the airport restaurants. Thank for your input learning every day."
Kenya gave birth to Brooklyn Daly, her first child with husband Marc Daly, on November 4, 2018 via an emergency Caesarean section. It was earlier than expected due to the pregnancy complication preeclampsia, which caused her to gain "17 lbs. in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine."
