Selecting the right college is such an important thing for any student's life and it's said that the 55-year-old actor would love to be involved in the important campus visits.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's oldest child Maddox is set to take his next big life step, which is a college. The "Maleficent" star reportedly has been accompanying the 17-year-old on a tour of universities both in the U.S. and abroad, but one person is said to be left out from the process.

Selecting the right college is such an important thing for any student's life and a source suggests to HollywoodLife.com that the 55-year-old actor would love to be involved in the important campus visits. "Brad is so proud of Maddox and would love to be helping him tour colleges, but as of now there are no plans for that. It's not by Brad's choice," said the source.

"He'd love to be more involved but Angelina has been very clear that she is handling it," the source went on claiming. "It's hard on Brad to be pushed out, to see Angelina having fun with the kids while he's busy working to support everyone."

Recently, the 43-year-old actress and her son toured the New York University campus. During the campus visit on February 22, the actress wore a grey trench coat and large Yves Saint Laurent handbag on her arm which she paired with pointy heels. As for Maddox, he opted for a casual look in a North Face jacket and Converse sneakers.

During their time in New York City, the "Salt" actress also brought four of her six children, Shiloh, Zahara, Maddox and Pax, to the opening of MoMA's Doc Fortnight and the premiere of Prune Nourry's Serendipity exhibition in New York City. Noticeably missing from the event were twins Knox and Vivienne.

That was not the only time Brad was not invited. The pair previously went to South Korea in early November of 2018 as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR) Special Envoy. They allegedly made time to do some college visits in Seoul for more options as Maddox is studying Korean. He was also said to be looking to study abroad in the Asian nation.
