One day after opening the 2019 Oscars with a showstopping performance, Adam takes to Twitter to share his excitement over the upcoming release of 'The Show Must Go On'.

AceShowbiz - Queen are cashing in on their awards season wins by releasing a new TV documentary.

Bandmates Brian May and Roger Taylor joined forces with frontman Adam Lambert for a showstopping opening performance at the Oscars on Sunday night (February 25), before their biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" picked up a string of honours, including a Best Actor prize for Rami Malek, who played late singer Freddie Mercury in the film.

And on Monday, Lambert announced the band is releasing a documentary, titled "The Show Must Go On - The Queen + Adam Lambert Story", which will air in America on April 29.

"So excited about our documentary 'The Show Must Go On - The Queen + Adam Lambert Story' airing on @ABCNetwork on April 29th!! @QueenWillRock." he tweeted.

The project will take a look at Lambert's introduction to the band after appearing on "American Idol" in 2009. The flamboyant singer has fronted the group ever since he performed with May and Taylor on the reality TV show.

The documentary will feature rare concert footage and interviews with Lambert, his parents, May and Taylor, and "Bohemian Rhapsody" star Malek. The project will air as a two-hour special.
