The newly-surfacing video taken from the set captures what appears to be the maniacal laugh of Batman's supervillain.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. Pictures may have not released any official footage of "Joker", but Joaquin Phoenix's creepy laugh as the Clown Prince has reportedly been revealed. Following a bunch of set photos and videos from the movie, a newly-shared clip captured what appears to be Joker's laugh.

The video posted on the Instagram account of Uncanny Comic Quest was seemingly taken on cell phone on the set of the upcoming Joker movie. Silhouettes of the cast and crew are seen on the other side of what looks like a fence. While their faces cannot be seen in the video, what sounds like Joker's maniacal laugh can been clearly heard.

Set in the 1980s, "Joker" will feature the events before both of Bruce's parents were murdered. The origin movie is described as a gritty character study of the signature villain of Batman, and also a broader cautionary tale of a man disregarded by society who becomes the ultimate supervillain. Joaquin Phoenix stars as the Batman villain whose real name is Arthur Fleck and is depicted as a failed stand-up comedian who goes insane and becomes a murdering psychopath.

Directed by Todd Phillips, the movie wrapped up filming in December 2018. Because Phoenix lost so much weight for the film, there would not be an opportunity for reshoots. Phillips also wrote the script. Zazie Beetz, who plays Arthur's love interest Sophie Dumond, revealed in January that Phillips rewrote the entire script during production.

Dante Pereira-Olson is tapped to play young Bruce Wayne / future Batman, Douglas Hodge is cast as Alfred, Bruce's loyal butler and eventual guardian, while Brett Cullen portrays Bruce's father, Thomas Wayne. Also starring Frances Conroy, Marc Maron, Robert De Niro, Shea Whigham, Glenn Fleshler, Bill Camp and Josh Pais, the film is slated to arrive in the U.S. on October 4.
