Belting out the tune to their hit duet, the 'A Star Is Born' co-stars stare into each other's eyes for the most part of their performance.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa and Bradley Cooper's performance of "Shallow" was undoubtedly one that people were anticipating the most at the 91st Annual Academy Awards. Taking the stage at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 24, the "A Star Is Born" co-stars delivered an intimate performance of the hit duet.
The duo began the performance from their front-row seats in the audience, with Cooper leading his co-star to the stage by the hand. GaGa then played the piano during the performance while Cooper sat on a nearby stool, before joining the pop superstar on the piano bench. They sang the rendition while staring into each other's eye. At one point, they even started singing cheek-to-cheek and received standing ovation.
Following the performance, Cooper and GaGa proceeded to hug tightly backstage as the latter asked whether she nailed her performance. "Did I nail it?" she asked, before gushing over the actor. "I'm so f***ing proud of you!"
It should be noted that this isn't the first time the pair sang "Shallow" live. Prior to this, GaGa invited Cooper to join her onstage to perform the duet during her Las Vegas residency.
After their Oscars performance, the "Bad Romance" singer once again took the stage to accept Best Original Song Award for "Shallow". Sharing the win with Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt, GaGa was in tears as she thanked Cooper. "There is not a single person on the planet that could sing this song but you," she said, before noting that "it's not about winning, but what it's about is not giving up. If you have a dream, fight for it."
Also performing at the biggest movie night in the industry were Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, who belted out "When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings" from "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs". Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar and SZA opted out of performing their "Black Panther" collaboration, "All the Stars".
