AceShowbiz - Chris Evans won the internet tonight. The "Avengers: Infinity War" actor may not be portraying Captain America any longer after "Avengers: Endgame", but he proves himself that he's still worth the title with his recent action at the 91st Annual Academy Awards. The hunk earned praise after he was seen helping winner Regina King.
King, who was among the early winners at the award-giving event, came out as the winner of Best Supporting Actress category for her stunning performance in "If Beale Street Could Talk". She appeared to struggle making her way to the stage due to her dress as she nearly tripped.
Evans later came to the rescue, walking her up the stairs while letting the actress hold his arm for balancing. King then thanked the actor for his kind gesture before taking the mic to deliver her speech.
"Chris Evans wins Best at Supporting Actress," one Twitter user wrote. Another fan praised him, "Captain America making sure Regina King had a flawless walk on stage to accept her Oscar. #Oscars."

One other fan decided to name Evans as the "best Chris" among the other Chrises in the Hollywood industry including Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pine. "Of course @ChrisEvans saves the day by making sure Regina King doesn’t fall. I knew you were deserving of the title of best Chris. #Oscars," the fan tweeted of the 37-year-old actor.
"Green Book 2 about the inspiring story behind Chris Evans helping Regina King to the stage at this year's #Oscars is already nominated for next year's Best Picture," another praise read.
Apparently, this was not the first time for Evans to do the sweet gesture. Back in January 2015, he lent a hand to escort Betty White to the stage. During that time, White won Favorite TV Icon at the 2015 People's Choice Awards.
"Captain America is ALWAYS on duty to help a lady in need! @ChrisEvans is a true gentleman!" a fan wrote alongside a GIF of the heartwarming moment.
