In a new interview, the 'Bachelor' alum calls his girlfriend an 'incredible person' who has all the things he's looking in a partner.

AceShowbiz - The speculations are true, everyone! Last month, when Ben Higgins revealed that he'd been dating again, people believed that "The Bachelor" alum's new girlfriend is a Nashville resident named Jessica Clarke. It turns out they were right because on Wednesday, February 20, Ben made his romance with Jessica Instagram official.
Ben shared on the photo-sharing platform a picture of him sweetly wrapping his arm around Jessica's shoulder. He wrote in the caption, "I've been selfishly keeping this girl to myself for too long! Hey friends meet @jessclarke_!" before explaining how they met. "I successfully slid into her DM's a few months ago. I took risk and I am glad I did," he said. "She is someone special, and I look forward to where life is going to take us. Stay tuned for our journey."
He went on saying that the picture was taken in Honduras, where he got to spend time with fellow Americans at his cafe Generous Coffee.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he explained why he was attracted to Jessica, saying that it felt weird for him to say that he's in "a committed relationship." He said, "Jessica kind of came inside this whole thing and said 'I get your struggles, and I just like you for who you are.' With the right person this does feel great, exciting, peaceful. And I know that I'm not super messed up! Somebody actually likes me!"
Calling Jessica an "incredible person" who has all the things he's looking in a partner, Ben admitted how nice it felt to date people behind the limelight. "It's brand new," he continued. "Every time I'm with her and around her, it builds … every time I'm with her I want to see her again. I have a feeling that once she's around my family, my friends … I can only imagine my feelings will increase."
Ben was previously engaged to Lauren Bushnell, whom he met through his season of "The Bachelor". The two split in May 2017.
