AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke. More than a year after their engagement, the season 20 star of "The Bachelor" and the model finally tied the knot in a "simple and beautiful" wedding.
The reality star and the New Zealand native exchanged vows at The Estate in Cherokee Dock near Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, November 13. "I am so excited," the 32-year-old TV personality told PEOPLE. "We have so much to look forward to. And I know we will have a beautiful marriage."
Ben and Jessica reportedly wrote their own vows while the ceremony itself featured "Winnie the Pooh" quotes that the couple selected. To attend the event, guests were required to have a negative COVID-19 test or get vaccinated.
Among those who attended the nuptials were several members of Bachelor Nation, including Nick Viall, Becca Kufrin, Thomas Jacobs, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconnetti. As for Wells Adams, he served as a groomsman.
One day before the wedding, Ben took to Instagram to share a picture of him and his now-wife. In the caption, he raved, "Tomorrow the guests begin to flood into Nashville for the wedding. My heart is at peace and my amazement continues that I get to marry @jessclarke_. She brings me to praise and thankfulness everyday (for the last 3 years)."
"This is something I have dreamed of, my family has prayed for, and now we will celebrate! Because of the weekend ahead, I am going to gladly with joy and excitement put my phone aside to soak up every second of the weekend," he further gushed. "Soon after the week ahead (wedding and honeymoon) I will share the photos and videos on social!"
Ben and Jessica, who first met via social media in 2018, got engaged in March 2020. As for "The Bachelorette" alum, he was previously engaged to Lauren Bushnell. However, the former couple called it quits a year later.
