AceShowbiz - Bruno Mars and Cardi B get down and dirty on their new collaboration. After much anticipation, the two Grammy-winning musicians have released their new track "Please Me", which is pretty much an ode to sexual pleasure. The '90s-inspired R&B song was produced by Bruno himself along with the Stereotypes.
Making its way out Friday, February 15 as promised, the track finds Bruno and Cardi in baby-making mode, with the female emcee teasing her collaborator. "On the dance floor, no panties in the way/ I take my time with it, bring you close to me," she raps. "I'm gonna ride, do it just how like it/ Tonight and after that/ Let's do it one more time."
Her attempt to tease Bruno appears to be successful because the "Uptown Funk" hitmaker ends up begging her for more. "Girl, I ain't one for beggin', but now you got me beggin'," he sings. "Please me, baby/ Turn around and just tease me, baby/ You know what I want and what I need, baby."
"Please Me" marks Cardi and Bruno's second collaboration. They previously joined forces on "Finesse (Remix)", which went 2x platinum. The song peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot 100 and topped both Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Pop Songs airplay charts.
The song is additionally her first song since winning a Grammy for Best Rap Album thanks to her debut album "Invasion of Privacy". And it appears she has another new song on the way. Just recently, DJ Khaled took to Instagram that he had a new collaboration with the "Bodak Yellow" rapper coming soon, along with its music video.
In a video which was taken in what seemed like a music video set, the record producer said, "They said I couldn't get Cardi B on my album." Cardi then appeared saying, "Who the f**k said that?" to which Khaled responded, "They said 'cause you won a Grammy, I can't get you on my album." The rapper replied back, "Who said that? This is right after the Grammys."
