The casting of the former 'Orange Is the New Black' actress in the Ryuhei Kitamura-directed action-thriller comes months after she landed Batwoman role in 'Arrowverse' crossover TV event.

AceShowbiz - "The Meg" star Ruby Rose has signed on to play a former Marine in action-thriller "Doorman".

The Australian actress, who is currently playing Batwoman on TV, will team up with director Ryuhei Kitamura for the film, replacing Katie Holmes, who was briefly attached.

"Doorman", which is slated to shoot in April 2019, follows Rose's traumatised ex-Marines character as she takes on a security job at a historic New York apartment building only to discover the place has treasure buried in its walls and a group of bad guys are out to get it - and destroy anything in their path.
