Lashing out at the rapper for his 'Racks on Racks' single, Geoff Barrow of Portishead clarifies that he and Ben Salisbury do not want their music to be associated with a track that degrades woman.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Lil Pump has been accused of illegally sampling a song by Portishead musician Geoff Barrow for his new single.
The instrumentalist has taken to Twitter to complain about Pump allegedly using elements of "The Alien" from the score he created with Ben Salisbury for Natalie Portman's 2018 film "Annihilation" for "Racks on Racks", on which the 18-year-old boasts about his drug use and sexual encounters, among other aspects of his wild lifestyle.
Lashing out at the rising hip-hop star and his disrespectful lyrics, Barrow raged, "Who is Lil Pump? He's used mine and @Benjaminsal (Ben Salisbury)'s Annihilation score in his deeply f**king sexist song ("Racks on Racks"). Just so you know we didn't give clearance."
"As 2 fathers of daughters this s**t needs to seriously f**k off," he vented.

Barrow expanded on the issue in a statement to Pitchfork, insisting he and Salisbury are simply concerned about their association with Pump and his misogynistic lyrics.
"We don't expect any royalties and copyright infringement is not our issue," he writes. "We want people to know that in no way have we granted the use of our music to be used on a track that is so terribly degrading to young woman."
"As fathers & firm supporters of the Me too movement (against sexual misconduct) We are amazed how tracks like this are not called out by the media for this reason. I know people will try and Call us out as old f**kers and the music ain't for us and they would be right but misogamy is still Bulls**t what ever age you are."
Pump has yet to respond to the complaint.
