Watch Dwayne Johnson's and Jason Statham's trade jabs at each other as they are forced to work together to take on a cyber-genetically enhanced villain, played by Idris Elba.

AceShowbiz - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jason Statham race and clash in the first trailer for "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw". The two reprise their "Fast and Furious" roles as Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, respectively, who are forced to work together to stop a superhuman villain named Brixton, played by Idris Elba.

The two hunks are recruited to track the elusive enemy, who is described as "a ghost." "I'm the necessary shock to the system. I am human evolutionary change, bullet proof, super human. Bad guy," so he introduces himself.

Not ready to put aside their differences, Hobbs and Shaw trade jabs as they reluctantly team up for the mission. "I'm trying to save the world, which for the record, would be my fourth time," Hobbs reminds Shaw of his history with the franchise. "Because I'm really good at it."

According to the official synopsis, "ever since hulking lawman Hobbs, a loyal agent of America's Diplomatic Security Service, and lawless outcast Shaw , a former British military elite operative, first faced off in 2015's 'Furious 7', the duo have swapped smack talk and body blows as they've tried to take each other down."

"But when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever - and bests a brilliant and fearless rogue MI6 agent ('The Crown' star Vanessa Kirby), who just happens to be Shaw's sister - these two sworn enemies will have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves."

" 'Hobbs & Shaw' blasts open a new door in the 'Fast' universe as it hurtles action across the globe, from Los Angeles to London and from the toxic wasteland of Chernobyl to the lush beauty of Samoa."

Helen Mirren reprises her role as Shaw's feisty mum Magdalene, Eiza Gonzalez stars as a new character named Madam M, and Roman Reigns is cast as Hobbs' brother. David Leitch ("Deadpool 2") is serving behind the lens with a script provided by Chris Morgan. The movie is scheduled for a July 26 release in the United States.
