AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams sparks concerns among fans as she keeps delaying her comeback to "The Wendy Williams Show" due to her health issue. Now, first photos of the TV personality during her hiatus have made their way out online, offering a look at Wendy's current condition.
Obtained by Radar Online, the photos, which were taken on Tuesday, January 29, featured the 54-year-old was spotted running errands at a CVS with a friend. Donning a bright yellow tee and a pair of denim shorts, Wendy looked great. It seemed like she was well enough to go out shopping. Additionally, the sling from her shoulder injury was gone.
Wendy is currently taking a break from her daytime talk show as she is focusing on her health. The host has suffered Graves' disease and a fractured shoulder. "As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves' Disease that will require treatment," her family revealed in press release on January 18.
"Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital. Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being," the statement continued.
Just yesterday, "The Wendy Williams Show" announced Nick Cannon as temporary guest host of the show starting from Monday, February. "Friend to the show and host of Fox's The Masked Singer and MTV’s Wild n' Out, @nickcannon will be guest hosting The Wendy Williams Show on Monday, February 4th, Tuesday, February 5th & Wednesday, February 6th," the show wrote on its Instagram official account. "The new hour long episodes will include Wendy’s staple Hot Topics segment, 'Ask Wendy,' celebrity interviews and more!"
